Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a new or experienced Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join our fantastic CYPIT team on a part time basis for a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will be based at Addington School in Wokingham where you will manage your own complex caseload treating patients using an impact-based model of clinical decision making. You'll also run school holiday clinics for children without EHCPs. Although you will be school based you will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team of OTs, Physios & Assistants with opportunities to shadow other therapists, attend training and have involvement in service development. You'll bring experience of working with children with additional needs - either in special or mainstream settings. Main duties
  • Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex communication needs
  • Opportunity to work alongside, and learn from experienced therapists
