Are you a qualified Speech & Language Therapist looking to expand your clinical skills and professional career in paediatrics? Are you seeking a part‑time role that offers flexibility to coincide with your home life? We have an exciting opportunity for a new or experienced Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join our fantastic CYPIT team on a part‑time basis for a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. You will be based at Addington School in Wokingham where you will manage your own complex caseload, treat patients using an impact‑based model of clinical decision making and run school holiday clinics for children without EHCPs. Although you will be school‑based you will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team of OTs, Physios & Assistants with opportunities to shadow other therapists, attend training and be involved in service development. Applications are reviewed as received and the vacancy may close early.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental/complex communication needs.
  • Opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced therapists.
  • Be involved in the implementation of training packages.
  • Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
