A leading healthcare provider in Reading is seeking a qualified Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join their integrated therapy team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 SaLT to join our amazing integrated therapy team for 22.5 hours per week, term time only. The role involves:
Our Children and Young People's Integrated Therapy service is shaped around the needs of the child and family. We are structured within integrated teams (physio, OT, SaLT, integrated therapy assistants and admin) and work closely together to ensure we have the greatest therapeutic impact.
You'll be part of our welcoming and collaborative team in West Berkshire, and have the support and direction of a Band 7 therapist. There will also be dedicated time and opportunities to shadow therapists in various settings, attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills within the wider school age therapy team.

To function as a specialist autonomous clinician, with a role in supporting delivery of the CYPIT model, development of the CYPF (Children and Young People and Families) model and provide support to other more junior CYPIT therapists and non-professional staff.
To provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs in area of specialist expertise, using evidence based/person-centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
To provide specialist therapy input into clinical services within a designated area/team, contributing to defined projects as requested by Clinical Leads.

Experience (including placement experience) in working with children with a range of needs in a school setting.
UK driving licence and access to vehicle for work, or equivalent abilityto travel to multiple sites within Reading and West Berkshire
