A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a Band 5 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist. This role is perfect for graduates or qualified therapists looking to gain experience. This role will involve working with children in early years and school aged settings. You will work as part of an integrated team with specialist therapists. You will be required to provide assessment, advice and therapy to children with a range of speech, language and communication needs, working with them, their families and supporting agencies in clinic, nursery and school settings. You will work under the guidance of specialist therapists providing a fantastic learning opportunity for a developing B5 clinician.
We have a whole service approach, which means that whichever team you are based in, you will have strong links and access to the support of friendly, experienced SLTs and TIs working in all areas of paediatric Speech and Language Therapy. We are a forward‑thinking department and you will need to show flexibility and innovation and share in the team's passion for delivering quality patient‑led care.
We offer a comprehensive and structured induction to all our new starters followed by high quality clinical supervision, regular team meetings and exciting CPD opportunities. We pride ourselves on our strong NQP support network, with colleagues with extensive skills and experience around you to help you develop as an SLT. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision as well as having access to a mentor to support acquisition of NQP competencies.
