Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to support mainstream schools and resource base teams in inner London. You will collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based SLT interventions for children and young people with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech, Language and Communication Pathology and Therapy recognised by the professional bodies.
• Membership of HCPC and RCSLT.
• Experience of working with children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Understanding of the role of SLTs in community SLT.
• Ability to work in a multi‑agency team.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions that meet the needs of children/young people with speech, language and communication needs.
• Work collaboratively with education staff and other SLTs.
• Contribute to evidence‑based practice and service development.
