A leading health care provider in the UK seeks a Paediatric Rheumatology Specialist Nurse. The role involves providing clinical expertise and resources, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for children. The role will involve working with a range of stakeholders across Health, Social Care and third sector organisations to facilitate appropriate care for children with Rheumatology across the region.
The successful candidate will act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the patients and carers and multi‑professional team across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland, as well as our neighbouring counties.
The role will involve working alongside other members of the Rheumatology multidisciplinary team and Regional Lead Nurse to ensure children and young people access high‑quality rheumatology care.

Be a registered children’s nurse with a degree‑level education.
Have a post‑registration teaching qualification and be able to support student nurses.
Have at least 5 years post‑qualification experience with at least two years within the speciality.
Evidence of continued professional development.
Evidence of change management within practice.
Communication skills to include conveying sensitive information to patients and families, minimising conflict, communicating within the MDT.
Able to independently travel across Leicestershire.
Able to demonstrate a commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect appropriate to their needs.
