Children and Family Health Devon in Torquay invites a Band 7 Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist with respiratory skills to join a fixed-term winter-funded rapid response service for children with complex neuro-disability. The post will be based at John Parkes Unit in Torquay and primarily delivered in community settings, homes and schools, to improve respiratory care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Band 7 Specialist paediatric respiratory physiotherapist.
• Experience in rapid response respiratory assessments.
• HCPC registration and Physiotherapy degree.
• IRMER training.

Responsabilités

• Provide high standard paediatric respiratory physiotherapy to children and families.
• Deliver rapid response assessments and provide expert chest health advice.
• Train and educate patients, carers, nurses, GPs, consultants and other professionals.
• Share knowledge with social services and other sectors on respiratory needs.
