West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Watford is seeking a Paediatric Matron to provide senior leadership across the paediatric portfolio, driving patient safety, governance and high-quality care for babies, children and young people.

The post involves leading quality improvement, workforce planning and service development, in collaboration with the Children’s Clinical Nurse Specialist teams and other clinical leads, across a seven-day rota including some nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide visible clinical and operational leadership across paediatric services.
• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives, workforce development, governance and patient experience.
• Guide service development and improvements across babies, children and young people.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve pathways and outcomes.
• Participate in the on-site senior nurse and allied health professional rota across seven days.
