Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist for a full-time, 9‑month maternity cover to join our inpatient therapy team. The role focuses on high‑quality assessment and treatment for infants, children and young people aged 0–19 years within the inpatient paediatric service.

You will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, develop specialist paediatric skills, and contribute to service development, governance and audit.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Extensive post-qualification paediatric experience.
  • Specialist paediatric respiratory and orthopaedic knowledge.

  • Leadership and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Job summary
An exciting maternity cover opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our inpatient therapy team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 9 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic clinician looking to further develop their specialist paediatric skills within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will work within our inpatient paediatric service, providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to infants, children, and young people aged 0-19 years.
This varied caseload provides an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain advanced clinical expertise across a broad spectrum of paediatric specialities.

  • Substantial Post graduate senior clinical experience, most recently working as a senior therapist which includes leadership and supervisory experience
