Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in paediatric and general radiology.
• Desirable to have a second area of subspecialist interest.
• Participation in paediatric multidisciplinary team meetings is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive radiology service alongside consultant colleagues.
• Liaise effectively with General Practitioners and community services.
• Maintain team and multi-disciplinary working within the department.

Skills

Extensive experience in Paediatric imaging

Able to report a range of CT imaging independently

Proficient in performing general adult and paediatric ultrasound

Competent reporting plain x-ray

Ability to perform and report MCUGs and barium swallows

Adult neuro and spine MR reporting experience

Paediatric and Neo-natal Neuro and MSK MR

Education

On GMC's specialist register relevant to the post or a Specialist Registrar within 6 months

FRCR (or equivalent)

Other higher degree or diploma (e.g. MD, PhD)
