Qualifikationen

• Compassionate, observant and reliable Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting paediatric patients or within high dependency settings is beneficial.
• Able to work under supervision of registered nurses and within a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Support the nursing team in delivering high standards of safe and effective patient care.
• Undertake and accurately record physiological observations including HR, RR, SpO2, BP and PEWS.
• Recognise changes in a child's condition and escalate concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Assist with overnight sleep studies and young patients requiring long-term ventilation (LTV).
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of respiratory and monitoring equipment.
• Provide personal care while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
