An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic Band 5 Paediatric Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department at DBTH. We are looking for individuals who can bring paediatric nursing knowledge and skills to the team while developing expertise in emergency care.

You will work as part of a dedicated paediatric emergency team, contributing to service improvement, sharing best practice and helping shape evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Paediatric nursing knowledge and skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in emergency care.
• Confidence in paediatric practice with sound clinical judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective and compassionate care to children and young people and their families as part of the emergency team.
• Contribute ideas, support innovation and maintain high standards of patient care within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Support service improvement initiatives and help shape evidence-based care within ED.
