Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust’s Children’s Speech and Language Therapy (CYP Therapies) team at Queensway Health Centre is seeking a highly specialist SLT for a six-month temporary post. You will work autonomously in paediatric dysphagia, supervise less experienced staff, and contribute to service improvement.

Requirements include HCPC registration, a full UK driving licence, and access to a car. The role offers opportunities for CPD and professional development within a supportive NHS

Formación

• Relevant clinical degree, Postgraduate Diploma or MSc leading to HCPC registration.
• Masters-level knowledge of complex communication needs and paediatric dysphagia.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver highly specialist SLT input in dysphagia, working autonomously and using evidence-based interventions.
• Provide professional supervision to less experienced SLTs and guide service policy.
• Maintain CPD and contribute to regional and national collaborations.
• Contribute to development and review of service policies, procedures and improvements.
• Support safeguarding compliance and child protection procedures.
• Prepare written reports and contribute to SEND appeals and case conferences.
• Recruitment and deputize for the Clinical Lead when required.
