Job summary

A regional NHS hospital is seeking a Paediatric Dietician to join their friendly team. The role involves providing dietary education and assessments for children aged from birth to 19 years, working within a multi-disciplinary environment. Candidates should possess a BSC in Dietetics and experience in paediatrics, along with strong interpersonal skills. The position covers one day a week at either the hospital or development centre, offering a competitive salary between £38,682 to £46,580 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• BSC in Dietetics or equivalent current state registration.
• Post registration experience with paediatrics.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

• To provide dietary education and nutritional assessment to children and young people in all settings.
• To maintain expertise in paediatric dietetics through expert clinical practice and continuing professional development.
• To develop and provide ongoing education and training to medical, nursing and other healthcare professionals.
