Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a HCPC-registered paediatric dietitian for a 6-month locum contract in Walsall. The role offers Full-Time or Part-Time options with a busy caseload focusing on faltering growth, food allergies, and enteral feeding.

You will deliver tailored assessments and care plans and work within a multidisciplinary team to support families. Expect around 5–6 appointments daily, with afternoon admin time, and a strong emphasis on reducing waiting times and improving patient

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and paediatric dietetics experience.
• Proficiency in managing faltering growth, food allergies, and enteral feeding.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage an independent caseload.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children experiencing faltering growth and manage restricted eating presentations.
• Evaluate and oversee cases involving food allergies and enteral feeding requirements.
• Deliver personalised nutritional assessments and treatment plans.
• Conduct both new and follow-up appointments with thorough clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support families and carers.
• Help reduce waiting times and ease service pressures to improve patient care.
• Maintain comprehensive records and follow through on patient care during admin time.
