Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Independent management of a complex and varied clinical caseload across inpatient and community locations.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessment, treatment and discharge of patients using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
  • Work within the wider MDT and take the lead as required.
  • Provide support and clinical leadership to junior colleagues.
  • Provide specialist reports.
  • Identify, lead and support audits and quality improvement projects within the service.
  • Support training and development of patients, carers and other professionals.

Job description

Your will provide high quality, patient-centred care to children and young people across community and inpatient settings. You will support children, young people and their families with a wide range of conditions including but not exclusive to allergies, nutritional support, home enteral feeding, obesity and gastrointestinal conditions. You will work independently, but also as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to support the team lead in new developments, regular audits and development of outcome measures. We are also able to discuss and negotiate agile and flexible working utilising virtual working within acceptable limits to the service.,
