Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites an experienced Paediatric Dietitian with a specialist interest in diabetes to join the Paediatric Dietetic team at Watford General Hospital. You will be part of a supportive group of dietitians delivering care across inpatient and outpatient services, with clinics held on Tuesdays at Hemel Hempstead and Fridays at Watford.

• Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
• HCPC Registered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Paediatric Diabetes service within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to specialist diabetes clinics and lead group education sessions.
• Act as a source of expertise for colleagues, families and patients.
• Support training and supervision of student dietitians; promote CPD and audit.
