Community Dental Services CIC is seeking a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry to deliver expert care across Norfolk and Waveney, with most sessions at Siskin Dental Centre, Norwich. The role combines hospital-adjacent facilities and community clinics, focusing on complex paediatric cases and sessions under general anaesthesia.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and on the Specialist List in Paediatric Dentistry, or within 6 months of achieving CCST
• Active NHS Performer Number
• Significant clinical experience in paediatric and special care dentistry
• Experience in providing treatment under general anaesthesia
• Experience in inhalation sedation
• Excellent team-working, leadership, and communication skills
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a car

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist paediatric dental care across community settings in Norfolk and Waveney, based mainly at Siskin Dental Centre, Norwich
• Deliver sessions at other local clinics and provide treatment under GA in hospital settings
• Lead paediatric dentistry provision and support clinical governance
• Mentor dental officers and senior clinicians with complex cases
• Advise general dental practitioners and carers on paediatric care
• Engage in Paediatric MCN and regional service development
• Lead or support sedation and GA services as needed
