A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is looking for a motivated Children's Paediatric Critical Care Outreach Nurse to join their established team. This role involves developing critical care services and advancing nursing practices for seriously ill children. The ideal candidate should be a Registered Children’s Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in intensive care or emergency medicine and substantial experience in critical care. Benefits include leadership development opportunities and professional growth through educational courses.
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Children’s Paediatric Critical Care Outreach Nurse to provide their expertise to the existing established Paediatric Critical Care Outreach team.
Our Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) provides Level 3 ICU and high‑dependency care and treats some of the most seriously ill children who come to us from across East London and beyond. We are also an on‑call service for the North Thames Children’s Acute Transport Service (CATS) and our nurses rotate to CATS nursing shifts. We also have a dedicated remit to assess and escalated the deteriorating patient within the paediatric wards.
The role will also help develop the critical care outreach service within the children’s hospital, advance nursing practice and support the expansion of the PCCU network.
