Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites applications for a part-time (0.6 WTE) Clinical Psychologist to join the Paediatric Psychosocial Service at RMCH, Stepping Hill Hospital. The post supports Band 8a development with potential for Band 7 applicants.

You'll assess, treat, and discharge children and young people with physical health conditions, delivering MDT care and service development.

Qualifications

• Accredited post‑graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
• Registration with HCPC (or qualification pending).
• Post‑qualification experience in paediatric, adolescent, or adult health psychology.

Responsabilités

• Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Help develop the clinical psychology service.
• Contribute to MDT care planning and review.
• Participate in residential burns camp programmes and rehab activities.
• Contribute to audit and research.
