The Paediatric Audiology department at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is seeking an Audiology Assistant to support the team as the second tester in hearing assessments for children aged 8 months to 18 years. The role is part-time with flexible working options across Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead, and requires a full valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
Training will be provided, previous experience in audiology is beneficial but not essential.

The Paediatric Audiology department at HCT is looking for an audiology assistant to join the team. The main job role will be being the second tester in hearing assessment appointments, helping the audiologist to test children's hearing.
This job is perfect for someone with a natural ability to work well with children, and who can engage and comfort children easily, helping to improve compliance and hearing test results. If you enjoy the challenge and reward of working with young children and want to make a real difference, Prior experience working in an audiology department is desired but not essential as full training will be provided.

The post holder will be expected to cover clinics at all three sites as needed, therefore afull valid driving licenseandaccess to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
