Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist to join the team. The post is 37.5 hours per week with both full- and part-time options available.

NHS secondments require manager approval, and the role may be fixed-term with potential for permanency. You will be part of a multidisciplinary Paediatric Audiology service for babies and children, conducting assessments, managing clinics, and contributing to audit and service

Qualifications

• Experience in paediatric audiology testing and diagnosis.
• Hearing aid fitting and management in children.
• Ability to train and supervise junior staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily clinical work and manage own clinics.
• Perform comprehensive paediatric hearing assessments including OAEs, ABR where area of specialty.
• Fit, programme and maintain digital hearing aids following guidelines.
• Contribute to audit, service development and change management within the paediatric audiology service.
