Job summary

Procter & Gamble in London, England is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will pack products from making areas, label and package them, either manually or with machines, and take ownership of equipment in your area.

You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, support continuous improvement, and work as part of a collaborative team to ensure high reliability and throughput in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Have a proven practical background of applying operational skills to solving production and equipment related issues.
• Be willing and able to suggest and implement changes that will improve equipment reliability or throughput.
• Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills. A "can and will do" attitude with good communication skills and can work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pack a product received from a making area, manually or with the assistance of a machine or robot, and ensure labeling and packaging.
• Act as a System Owner or Equipment Owner for the area and operate/maintain the equipment.
• Support safe, efficient operation and continuous improvement in packaging area.

Acts as a System Owner or Equipment Owner for the area in which they operate. Operates and maintains the equipment in their area.
