Job summary

Greencore is seeking a packing operative at our Warrington site to join the fast-paced packing team. You will contribute to delivering high-quality ready meals while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting in a chilled environment, and working to daily targets.

Full training will be provided. We value teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining product quality and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• You’re comfortable with handling, preparing food and ideally have worked in a food manufacturing environment.
• You’re comfortable with standing for long periods, lifting and carrying, and with cleaning tasks.
• You take pride in the quality of the products you produce.
• You’re a great team player, respectful and supportive of the Greencore team.
• You have an understanding of health & safety and food hygiene (training provided).
• Good level of English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high‑risk area in a chilled environment.
• Follow processes to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Work in a target driven environment to achieve daily shift targets for quality, safety and output.
• Work as part of a team and also unsupervised.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
• Perform final quality checks before products are sent to customers.
