Job summary

Packing Operative (Days) at Pilgrim's Europe in Spalding is looking for a hands-on team player to join our chilled food production line. You will work on packing products to customer specifications, in a clean, fast-paced environment, with training provided.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm (42.5 hours/week) with voluntary overtime and weekend work available. A focus on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in chilled food production is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to follow customer specifications and quality standards.
• Commitment to Health & Safety and Food Safety rules.

We are currently recruiting for Packing Operative (Days) to join our Team at Spalding site.

Location: Fulney Lane, Spalding, PE12 6EP

Shift Pattern

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 5:00pm (42,5h per week)

Required

Successful candidate will be required to work in a Chilled Food Production Environment undertaking manual handling tasks, handling raw meat and ensuring that all products are packaged safely in accordance with customer specification. Your duties will include:

• Working as part of a team to meet production targets
• Comply with Company Policies and Procedures. Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Safety rules at all times.
• Maintain responsibility for operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery and report faults to Management in a timely manner
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned necessary to meet business needs.

Previous experience working in Food Production Environment will be advantageous but not essential as Full Training will be provided.
