At our Mansfield site we currently have multiple opportunities within our production team for a Packing Operative to join us.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily checks on machinery and to report any discrepancies to the Shift Manager/Technician.
  • Fix any known faults/alarms that occur across the machines within capabilities.
  • Cleaning of mould and ensuring correct equipment is used.
  • To ensure the product being packed meets the required specification.
  • To check that each label is the correct one for the product being packed. To ensure that the date and correct product code is clearly marked on each label.
  • To ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
  • To carry out all duties in accordance with health and safety practice.
Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday 3 Shift Rotation

  • 1st week 6am – 2pm
  • 2nd week 2pm – 10pm
  • 3rd week 10pm – 6am
Experience Required
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience of operating machinery/basic fault fixing would be highly advantageous.
  • Awareness of H&S requirements within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
