Job description

Nitron are a global manufacturer of premium racing car, motorcycle and OEM suspension with our international headquarters located right in the heart of England’s well-known ‘Motorsport Valley’ in Witney, Oxfordshire. We have distribution and assembly operations in Japan and soon California with over 70 percent of Nitron’s production being exported.

We are now looking to appoint an additional person to assist with packing and despatch in our dynamic and growing team, someone who will work well in a busy but organised team.

Our modern, bright and spacious brand new purpose-built building in Witney has on-site parking.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building up boxed packing sets for our suspension products
  • Checking the correct components are assembled and packed correctly
  • Very carefully completing the boxing procedure
  • Working on the company computer system to create packing documentation
  • Working with the various courier computer systems
  • Preparing the deliveries for collection
  • Keeping the despatch and goods in area clean and tidy

No previous vehicle, suspension or shock absorber knowledge is required. Full training will be given.

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience of working in a packing, despatch or goods out environment
  • Some boxes are reasonable heavy so manual lifting is a requirement of this position
  • Good organisational and detail-focused skills are essential
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Tidy, organised with excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • A very flexible attitude
  • Smart and presentable appearance
