About the Role: Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking to appoint a reliable and detail-oriented Packer/Inspector for our client in the Bridgend area.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the products meet the highest quality standards before they reach the customers.

This role includes basic computer use for booking items and printing labels, so comfort with simple software tasks is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carefully inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Accurately pack items for shipment or storage.
  • Use internal systems to book items into inventory.
  • Print and apply correct labels to products and packaging.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues in the products or packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with health and safety and hygiene standards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high-quality output.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support the production and quality teams.
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in packing, inspecting, or a manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
  • Comfortable using basic software tools for data entry, label printing, and booking inventory; training will be provided.
  • Takes pride in high-quality work and has a keen eye for detail.
  • Shows up on time, works hard, and takes initiative.
  • Willing to learn, adapt, and support colleagues where needed.
  • Able to stand for long periods and perform light manual handling tasks.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 1:30pm

Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour.
