A leading packaging company in Lees is seeking a Packaging/Production Assistant to manage the packing and labelling of finished goods. The role includes ensuring material availability, performing stocktakes, and manual lifting when necessary. Qualifications

What will your job as a Packaging/Production Assistant look like?

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Packing and labelling of finished goods ready for dispatch.
  • Ensuring the packing area is stocked up at all times with raw materials.
  • Supplying machines with correct materials for particular job.
  • Weekly Stocktake.
  • Informing relevant people when materials are running low.
  • Intake of raw materials and storing adequately in correct place.
  • Palletising and wrapping of larger jobs ready for dispatch, including manual lifting up to 20kg
  • Loading finished goods onto daily courier transportation.

The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
