Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in the United Kingdom is seeking a Packaging Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain specialist packaging equipment across customer sites.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults, carry out planned maintenance, complete service reports and travel as required, with opportunities for overseas training and clear career progression within a stable engineering business.

Qualifications

• Previous field service experience on automated or packaging-related machinery.
• Apprentice-trained engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to travel and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain a range of specialist production equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults.
• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs at customer sites.
• Complete service reports and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times.
