Job summary

Prospex Recruitment is seeking a Packaging Designer for a Bradford-based role with hybrid working. You will craft original packaging concepts for food and beverage brands, collaborating with a branding agency-style team to meet deadlines and budgets.

We are looking for hands-on designers experienced in packaging design and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). You will balance strategic thinking with craft, contribute to style guides, and help progress the department with

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging design with a packaging/branding agency.
• Experience in food/beverage packaging.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong brand sensibility and ability to follow style guides.
• Able to work to deadlines within budgets.

Packaging Designer

Role: As a Packaging Designer, you will be passionate about conceptual design, and you will have experience within the food packaging and branding industry.

The company is seeking to add more designers to its team and have openings for junior, middle-weight and senior packaging designers.

• Create new, original, and exciting design concepts.
• Experience with packaging and branding.
• Help drive the creative department forward with your enthusiasm and passion for design.
• Ability to quickly conceptualise and create ideas.
• Work with style guides and brand guidelines to ensure brand compliance with a high attention to detail.
• Ensure that all deadlines are met within project budgets.
• Attend design and project briefings.

Requirements

• Experience within packaging design
• Previously worked at a packaging and branding agency
• Retail OR brand experience
• Will also consider creative artworkers
• Food / Beverage packaging design
• Confident user of Adobe CS
• You are positive and passionate about the power of design to shape our client's brands
• You are proactive in driving the standards of design within the department
• You are conceptual and balance strategic thinking with design craft
• You're comfortable rolling out style guide-based range extensions
