Salary: Points 23 : 25 of the Support Staff Scale, FTE A GBP 34,434 : A GBP 36,363 per annum, Pro rata A GBP 30,907 : A GBP 32,937 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay

The Primary School is a member of the Education Trust. The Trust is an expanding multi‑academy trust with 11 primary and 9 secondary schools.

The Role

They are seeking a hard‑working, highly organised and proactive professional to serve as PA to the Headteacher. The successful candidate will provide a high‑calibre, confidential service to the Headteacher, ensure the effective operation of the school office and line manage the Office Administrators.

The role requires impeccable communication, excellent administrative skills, financial accuracy and the ability to remain calm and solutions‑focused in a busy, dynamic environment. The postholder will be an ambassador for the Primary School, someone who models their values and helps ensure that every interaction reflects their ethos.

The PA to the Headteacher provides a confidential, high‑quality personal and administrative service to support the Headteacher in all aspects of their role. The postholder always acts as a professional representative of the school and manages the day‑to‑day operation of the school office, ensuring smooth, efficient and welcoming administration.

The Postholder Will
  • Adhere to the Primary Schools policies, values and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Handle confidential or sensitive information with absolute discretion.
  • Participate in performance management and ongoing professional development.
  • Undertake any duties consistent with the role, as reasonably requested by the Headteacher.
