Job summary

CVL is seeking an experienced P6 Planning Manager to lead a team of P6 Planners across civils utility projects nationwide. You will oversee production, updating and monitoring project programmes using Primavera P6 within NEC contracts, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date planning across projects.

You will work with construction teams and stakeholders to mitigate risk and drive on-time delivery. The role offers a salary up to £100,000, company car or allowance, annual bonus, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Experience leading P6 Planners in Utilities or Civil Engineering environment.
• Excellent practical knowledge of Primavera P6 and NEC forms of contract.
• Ability to review complex programmes, challenge assumptions and communicate programme risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and develop a team of P6 Planners and Senior Planners.
• Oversee production, updating and monitoring of project programmes in Primavera P6 under NEC forms of contract.
• Set planning priorities and ensure programmes are consistent, accurate and kept up to date across each project.
• Work with project and construction teams to review progress, identify risks and mitigate.
• Review progress reports and present programme information to project teams, senior stakeholders and clients.
• Support Project Managers with planning decisions and attend project and client meetings.
