The Clancy Group Limited is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join our Civils team, supporting watermain projects in Hampshire. You will develop robust programmes, assess risks, and work with PMs, site teams and stakeholders to keep projects moving forward from preconstruction through to completion.
You will bring extensive Primavera P6 knowledge (cost/resource loaded programmes) and solid MS Project skills, with a UK driving licence.
We're looking for an experienced P6 Planner to join our Civils team, supporting our strategic watermain projects situated in Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced P6 Planner who enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle, from developing initial programmes through to supporting delivery teams on site and ensuring successful project completion. Working closely with Project Managers, delivery teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders, you'll play a key role in developing robust programmes, identifying risks and ensuring works are planned, monitored and delivered effectively.
That's why we need people like you to help us. People who enjoy finding new ways to do things... You bring proven planning experience within civil engineering, utilities, construction or infrastructure, ideally working for a delivery contractor where you've played a key role in turning plans into successful project outcomes. We'd be especially keen to hear from you if you have a background in Site Engineering, Site Delivery or Project Delivery, giving you a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver safely, efficiently and on time. Experience within the water, wastewater, drainage or wider utilities sector would be highly valued, along with a strong appreciation of construction methodologies, project sequencing and working within live operational environments. You'll be a proactive problem solver who can see the bigger picture, identifying risks early, adapting to change and developing solutions that keep projects moving forward. With a keen eye for detail, you'll produce and maintain robust, accurate programmes that support successful delivery from preconstruction through to completion. Alongside this, you'll have a solid understanding of programme management and NEC contracts, with the confidence to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. You'll have extensive experience using Primavera P6, including developing cost and resource loaded programmes to an advanced level, together with a good working knowledge of MS Project. A full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
