Job Title: Cover Supervisor for P.E Classes

Salary range: £100-£115.80 per day | Location: Cardiff | Sector: Secondary Schools

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working in Secondary schools in the Cardiff area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.

Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

What is required
  • Experience working with young people (experience in education is desirable but not essential).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A degree is required (depending on your experience) in a relevant field such as Sports Therapy or Coaching.
  • A confident, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
  • A commitment to supporting students' learning and well-being.
  • A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

About the Role
  • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
  • Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained by managing student behaviour.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work provided.
  • Provide support to students where needed and manage classroom resources.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
