Job summary

Sheridan Myers Management Services in Gravesend is seeking an owner driver to transport school meals between Meopham and West Malling. You will load your own vehicle with insulated boxes, transport between schools, and unload boxes containing school meals.

Requirements include a full driver’s licence, a suitable vehicle (large hatchback/estate/MPV/van), good communication, and physical fitness. Term-time schedule is approximately 1–2 hours daily, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driver’s licence.
• Large vehicle requirement: be able to drive a large hatchback, estate, MPV or van.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Physically fit for loading/unloading and driving.
• Residence within a 5 mile radius of the schools to service the routes.
• Criminal record checks required.

Responsibilities

• Drive between schools, load and unload insulated boxes, and maintain the vehicle to ensure safe transport of meals.
