A regional healthcare provider in Lincoln is seeking an Overseas Visitors Coordinator to assess eligibility for NHS care and manage cost recovery processes. Ideal candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills, with a background in administration. The role includes liaising with patients and healthcare staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining detailed records. Full-time permanent position with ongoing training and support provided.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trust Overseas Visitors Team working closely with colleagues and supported by the Overseas Visitors Manager, to identify all Overseas Visitors being treated by the Trust. In this varied and interesting niche role, you will be responsible for assessing eligibility for NHS funded care and application of cost recovery processes where applicable in accordance with the NHS (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations.
The successful candidate will have exceptional proven customer service skills who is able to communicate effectively, maintaining the utmost professional standards and have the ability to remain non judgemental and compassionate at all times whilst ensuring compliance to Trust values. We are looking for an individual to join the team who is a collaborative team player with a strong drive to learn new knowledge and skills.
Whilst previous experience of working in a hospital setting will be beneficial, having the right personal attributes are essential and ongoing training and support will be provided in ensuring the successful candidate will be confident and able to excel in the role.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations. The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
