Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker in Hayle to provide overnight care for three ladies with learning disabilities. You’ll help them settle, offer comfort, and ensure a safe, respectful environment through the night.

This role suits patient, compassionate individuals who stay calm, work independently yet value teamwork, and are comfortable recording care plans using IT systems. Shifts will be discussed at interview and may include overtime.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassion and a genuine desire to support individuals.
• Ability to stay calm and reassuring during night shifts.
• Comfortable using IT systems to record care plans and logs.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out keeping safe checks to ensure security and comfort.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic space that is welcoming and safe.
• Recording important information using IT systems (care plans, logs).
• Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing at night.
• Supporting people to enjoy late evenings or nights in meaningful ways.
• Providing personal care when needed with dignity and respect.
