A dynamic sports organisation in Aldershot is seeking an Outside Sports Assistant. This role involves managing outdoor sports facilities, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience and strong communication skills, with First Aid qualifications being desirable. You will organise and supervise the external Sports Facilities.
You will carry out duties in a safe and proper manner both for yourself and the wellbeing of others.
You will adhere to Health & Safety Codes of Practice and Regulations as appropriate.
You will be responsible for the efficient day to day management of the outdoor areas, in addition to undertaking designated areas of responsibility.
You will ensure that the quality of service to every customer is of a high standard and is upheld following guidelines to enhance the Leisure Services image and to promote good public relations and customer care.
You will deal with complaints and grievances from the public and users of the facilities as required.
Qualifications: It is desirable to have First Aid at Work Qualification.
Experience: You will have experience at Supervisory level at minimum, excellent communication and customer service skills, and are competent with Microsoft Office packages. You will be self-motivated, committed, have a can-do approach, as well as possess literacy skills.
Skills: You will be able to communicate clearly, use effective methods to deliver the message, work effectively with others and maintain constructive relationships within the team. In addition to this, you will commit to putting customers first and deliver a high-quality service that meets or exceeds expectations of both internal and external customers.
Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence is desirable.
