Job summary

Remedy Tutors is seeking dedicated specialists to support students with special educational needs and SEMH. You will work one-to-one delivering personalised programmes tailored to academic ability and barriers to engagement.

This may include anxiety, low confidence, concentration difficulties, communication needs or challenges with emotional regulation. The aim is to help each student feel supported, re-engage with learning and make meaningful academic progress.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach both Maths and English.
• Experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH is desirable.
• Understanding of how additional needs can affect learning.
• Patient, calm and adaptable teaching style.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach both Maths and English across primary to GCSE level.
• Plan lessons around the student’s individual learning needs.
• Adapt activities to support concentration, confidence and engagement.
• Provide consistent, encouraging one-to-one support.

Help Students Overcome Barriers to Learning

Remedy Tutors is looking for dedicated tutors to support students with special educational needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, and difficulties accessing education.

You will work one-to-one with a student, delivering a personalised learning programme that considers their academic ability as well as any barriers affecting their engagement. This may include anxiety, low confidence, concentration difficulties, communication needs or challenges with emotional regulation.

The aim is to help each student feel supported, re-engage with learning and make meaningful academic progress.
