We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Tutor to support a Looked After Child living within a residential care home in Ilford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's education by providing consistent 1:1 tuition in a safe, supportive environment. The student requires a tutor who can build trust, encourage engagement and deliver personalised learning that helps them progress both academically and personally.
You will provide 2 hours of face-to-face tuition each weekday within the care home, delivering engaging lessons that are tailored to the student's current ability and learning needs. The focus will be on supporting the Key Stage 4 curriculum, helping to prepare the student for their GCSE studies while rebuilding confidence and developing a positive attitude towards learning.
Working closely with the care home staff and wider professionals involved in the young person's care, you will play an important role in supporting both their educational progress and overall wellbeing.
If you're passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and believe every student deserves access to high-quality education, we'd love to hear from you.
