Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a Charity, who are looking to appoint an Outreach Support Worker on a 3-month temporary contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Surrey, with a rate of £22.97 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS taken out within the last 3 years, a Full UK Driver’s License with access to a car and experience providing outreach support to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a caseload of rough sleepers
• Creating accurate support plans and risk assessments
• Finding rough sleepers’ temporary accommodation where possible
• Signposting clients to external organisations

Experience required:

• Experience providing outreach support
• Experience working within a charity

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to deal with people compassionately

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, shift work
