A prestigious higher education institution is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to support young people in York and North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will engage with students through workshops and events, fostering aspirations and educational progress. This role is full-time with opportunities for home working, requiring a valid driving license for travel to schools. The closing date for applications is November 19, 2025.

As part of our outreach team, you’ll work face‑to‑face with students in schools and colleges across York and North Yorkshire. You’ll plan and deliver exciting workshops, mentoring sessions, and events that open minds and raise aspirations. If you’ve ever wanted to lead, inspire, and make a real difference, this is your chance.
Whether you’ve worked in outreach before or just know you’ve got what it takes, we’d love to hear from you.
The post will be based at York St John University with opportunity for home working. There is a requirement to work on a flexible basis, including very occasional evening/weekends. This role involves frequent travel to rural locations, where public transport is often limited or unavailable. A full, valid driving license is therefore essential to ensure you can reliably reach schools and colleges on time.
