Job summary

Mersey West Lancashire NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join the Nursing and Medical Team in St Helens Outpatients Department. You will provide high-quality care across a range of specialties and support clinicians with examinations, investigations and treatments.

The post requires effective communication, post-qualification experience, and willingness to work across the Trust's sites. Flexible hours across 0800–2100, Monday–Sunday as required.

Qualifications

• 1st Level Registered Nurse (degree/diploma).
• Current NMC Registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of specialist services in Outpatient Department.
• Assist clinicians with examinations, investigations and treatments.
• Administer drugs and other treatments according to policy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
