Job summary

Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse for the Outpatients Department. Flexible working across clinics, joining a supportive team to deliver patient-focused care in outpatient settings.

You will assist consultants, perform wound care and phlebotomy, and help manage patient flow while ensuring a safe, clean clinical environment. Prior outpatients experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• NMC registration with no pin restrictions.
• Experience in outpatient or similar clinical setting desirable.
• Competent in wound care and phlebotomy.
• Confident in running clinics and managing patient flow.
• Ability to prioritise in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient-focused care in outpatient settings.
• Support consultants during clinics, including chaperoning and assisting with examinations and minor procedures.
• Deliver clinical duties such as wound care and phlebotomy.
• Lead and manage outpatient clinics ensuring smooth patient journeys.
• Recognise deterioration and escalate appropriately; work with multidisciplinary team.
