A leading NHS trust in Liverpool seeks an Outpatient Receptionist to manage patient bookings, ensure data quality, and offer support to clinical staff. Responsibilities include checking in patients, booking appointments, and liaising with ambulance services. Ideal candidates will possess excellent organizational skills and relevant certifications. We are currently looking to recruit an Outpatient Receptionist working 37.5 hours - Mon, Tues & Fri 8-6pm, Thur 8-5.30pm off Wed including Saturdays on a rota basis. Staff maybe asked to cross cover for leave/sickness so day off my alter depending on service needs.
Main Duties will include;
Checking in patients, updating contact details, booking appointments, recording clinical outcomes, booking ambulances etc. Please see job specifications for further details.
Set up OPD clinics daily. Provide reception cover for OPD clinics. Book outpatient appointments. Deal with telephone queries. Calculate & authorise patient travel expenses.
