Qualifications

Outpatient & Pre-Assessment Administrator

Oaklands Hospital Salford

Full‑Time 37.5 Hours

Where you’ll be based

Oaklands Hospital is a purpose built modern hospital providing a wide range of surgical and medical treatments to private patients and eligible NHS patients. Our consultants and nursing staff are highly experienced and have your care and comfort as their highest priority. All patients have the reassurance that a doctor is resident on site and available 24 hours a day.

Responsibilities
  • Make appointments, manage cancellations and rescheduling.
  • Liaise with clinical staff to ensure appropriate patient flow.
  • Prepare update and maintain patient records in line with confidentiality policies. Ensure accurate input of patient data into electronic health systems.
  • Ensure and test results are ready for clinical teams in advance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure results are available.
  • Provide general administrative support to consultants, nurses and other clinical staff.
  • Manage office supplies, stationery and equipment for the department.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Competent IT skills including MS Office and electronic patient record systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
