Job summary

Compass Associates in East Grinstead are recruiting a Registered Nurse – Outpatients for an established independent healthcare provider. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to patients in outpatient clinics and consultations.

You will assess, plan and deliver individualized care, support patients through consultations and procedures, and contribute to audits and governance while maintaining documentation. NMC registration is essential.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration and relevant clinical experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Ability to work independently within a MDT.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver individualised patient care.
• Support patients attending outpatient consultations and procedures.
• Work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide clinical advice, education and reassurance to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support infection prevention and clinical governance.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior colleagues and new starters.
• Help with day-to-day running of the department.
