Job summary

Spire Healthcare Group is opening a Perth clinic in Scotland and seeks a Registered Nurse with outpatient/minor ops background to join the team for an exciting new phase. You will run nurse-led clinics, support pre-operative procedures, and contribute to high-quality outpatient care in a private hospital setting.

The role requires current NMC registration, experience in outpatient/Minor Ops, and the ability to work with limited supervision in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Experience in Outpatients/Minor Ops/GP Practice/POA.
• Experience working with minimum supervision.
• Good team player.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run nurse-led dressing and phlebotomy clinics and assist in pre-operative minor procedures.
• Experience in Minor Ops/Theatre/Endoscopy/Ophthalmology/Dental-Maxfax or similar would be desirable (Medicines management, urodynamics, colposcopy, phlebotomy, ECG, POCT, diagnostics, wound care/dressings, IPC, wound assessment).
• Carry out other duties delegated by the Clinical Services Manager / General Manager for patient care and smooth department operation.
• Provide high quality evidence-based nursing care in clinic settings to facilitate outpatient clinics; shifts based on operating hours.
