A healthcare provider in Chesterfield seeks an experienced Nurse to join their outpatient team. The role involves conducting patient assessments, ensuring readiness for surgery, and providing support for a smooth surgical process. Ideal candidates are NMC registered Nurses with experience in outpatient care and a commitment to excellent patient service. We are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our outpatient team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough. Supported by our experienced Outpatient Manager Debbie, you will ensure that arrangements are in place to facilitate a smooth pre‑operative and post‑operative course, including a well‑planned discharge. This will include taking full medical histories, carrying out patient assessments, ensuring that patients are medically fit for surgery and working closely with the anaesthetic team. You will work four 9.5‑hour shifts a week, including occasional weekends. There are no nights and the department closes at 18.00. As an NMC registered Nurse, you will have recent experience in an outpatient or pre‑assessment environment. Orthopaedic experience, while not essential, would be beneficial. Your ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team, your excellent communication skills and your commitment to the provision of high‑quality patient care will be valued at Practice Plus Group.
