Job description

We are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our outpatient team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough. Main duties of the job

Supported by our experienced Outpatient Manager Debbie, you will ensure that arrangements are in place to facilitate a smooth pre‑operative and post‑operative course, including a well‑planned discharge. This will include taking full medical histories, carrying out patient assessments, ensuring that patients are medically fit for surgery and working closely with the anaesthetic team. You will work four 9.5‑hour shifts a week, including occasional weekends. There are no nights and the department closes at 18.00.
